Greetings from KLEX!

We’d like to announce that our submission deadline is officially closed. Thank you for all of you who have submitted works and spread the word about this volunteer-organized, new grassroot festival in Kuala Lumpur!

We have received over 250 submissions from all over the world including Austria, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Singapore & many more. We are very excited to receive these works!

The curatorial team is now in the selection process. We’ll spend the month of August to view and to select works for the three General Open Programs and one Students Program. We just did our first viewing session last weekend, and had encountered some really interesting works!

The selected artists will be notified no later than 20 September 1 October 2011.

The festival will take place from 23-27 November 2011. A detailed schedule will be announced in October.
