ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
Yong Yandsen is an improvised saxophonist. He is the woodwind player of Klangmutationen, where it has released albums through Utech Records (USA) and Dream Sheep (Italy). He has played at the Kuala Lumpur Contemporary Music Festival, Mosaic Festival Singapore, Choppa Eclectic Improvised Music Festival, Turn Around Free Jazz & Improvisation Festival amongst others. Yandsen has collaborated with musicians such as Goh Lee Kwang, Ng Chor-Guan, Thierry Monnier, Uchihashi Kazuhisa, Damo Suzuki, Darren Moore, Brian O’ Reily and more. Yandsen’s debut LP of solo saxophone improvisation was released by Doubtful Sound (France) in 2013. Yandsen, together with Moore and O’Reily have formed an improvised trio called Game of Patience and have toured to Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Ben Liew is the frontman of KL punk rock band, Ben’s Bitches. When he is not fighting Ultraman, Ben indulges in his side projects, political-satire trio The Panda Head Curry?, and animal-loving ROARM. As a guitarist, Ben comes from the “less-is-more, unless you use a distortion pedal” school of thought.

Azmyl Yunor is a lot of things to different people. He enjoys composing simple songs and singing them. He also enjoys playing guitar, banjo, tambourine, mandolin, lap steel, piano, harmonica, and drums. He has injured himself many times over from his passionate love of performing live in total immersion of the moment. Despite this notoriety, he is popularly known as folky singer-songwriter. He will not be this today.

Ronnie Khoo does not think of himself as a musician. He regards himself an explorer of the medium of music and sound, to varying degrees of artistic success, mass acceptance and infamy. He thinks his music sounds like freshly brewed tea. People who have only known him recently might have no idea what he ever accomplished, which is fine. Also, he prefers if someone else wrote his bio.

O.g. Azrin is a drummer originally from KK Sabah but moved to KL when he was 12. He used to play drums for KK thrashcore band, Arah Kiri back in 2006, hardcore band Myheadcorrupt and most recently with Think!Tadpole!Think!
